Do you offer circumcision services to children?

Yes, we currently offer circumcision services for under 18 months old babies and for children over six years old. Prior to the procedure, we conduct an initial assessment to ensure suitability and safety.

Do you offer circumcision services to adults?

Yes, We offer circumcision services to adults and children

Do you perform the circumcision procedure under general anesthesia?

No, we do not have the facilities for general anesthesia. We only provide this service under local anesthesia. We use plastibell(a plastic ring) for circumcision in young children under 18months old.

Is the circumcision service available as a walk-in service?

No, the circumcision service is available by appointment only

How can we book appointments for the circumcision procedure?

Appointments can be scheduled by contacting our team via WhatsApp at +353 41 214 7358, emailing us at dr.afghan@mygpsurgery.ie, or booking directly through our website. A booking deposit of €100 is required to secure your appointment. Please note that this deposit is not the total fee for the procedure but will be deducted from the overall cost when you attend your appointment. Kindly be advised that cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the appointment or failure to attend will result in the forfeiture of the booking deposit.

Is it a walk-in service?

No, our services are only available by appointment, which can be scheduled by phone.
